Simon McKeon to speak at AGM!
We have been able to get a fantastic speaker for the MYCV Annual General Meeting - Simon McKeon!
Simon, a long term MYCV member, has been Australian
of the Year, a past world sailing speed record holder and a long term
multihuller, as well as a successful businessman and philanthropist. He is
regarded as one of Australia’s best speakers, so be sure to come along and hear
him.
The AGM will be held at 7.00 pm on Thursday 19th September at Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, Pier Road, St Kilda. The bar will be open and excellent meals are available there (please arrive early if you plan to eat). Simon's talk will start at 7.30.
You are welcome to invite friends to come along (and especially potential new members), but of course only financial members can vote in the AGM. All financial members should have received a formal notice of the AGM by email - please email floyd.lisa.m@edumail.vic.gov.au if you have not received yours.
