Chilli HOT Again..

Well done to Geoff, Lisa and crew for winning AVW for the 2nd time.

Congratulations also to Ross and Scharnhorst crew for their best result
in a regatta closely followed by Goldfinger. Close results seem to show that
the OMR rule must be working. Thanks to the interstate boats for making the
effort in coming over this year which will be the last time in this format.

AVW Dinner

Happy New Year everybody,

Not long now until A.V.W. starts, there is 10 boats already entered so it should be a great regatta.
On Tuesday the 18th January we are having a welcome dinner at Royal Geelong Yacht Club. Cost is $26 per head, can you all please email Shaun Fishley with your crew numbers so we can advise the caterer. shaunfishley@gmail.com

AUDI VICTORIA WEEK.

It’s finalised, the dates below are correct so you can start planning your Geelong assault. Rumor has it Martyn Riley is going to dust off Raw TO The Core to be first to Geelong, but some interest from Mad Max with Wilparina 11 have different ideas. It will be good to see the div 1 boats flying around lets hope they make it.

18th January - 23rd January, 2011

18^th Tuesday  -          2 short races around Corio bay.

19^th Wednesday -      Passage race to Docklands.

20^th Thursday -         2 races up the top end of Port Phillip Bay.

21^st Friday -              Lay day .

22^nd Saturday -         Melbourne to Geelong Race.

23^rd Sunday -            One or two races.
