SOMR will be held over the Melbourne Cup Weekend in the same format as previous years. So book in now Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th and Monday 5th of November and get ready for a fun packed long weekend of fun. Hasting Yacht Club will again host the event in conjunction with the MYCV.
I've dusted down the mantel piece in the pool room for the Greyhound Trophy and looking forward to giving Frassld and Mustang Sally a whooping on OMR.....Lets hope its not blowing over 15kts and Culphy and Sknot with her new carbon stick will come out and play. Spread the word and lets get as many boats as possible to compete. Anyone needing crew or anyone wanting to crew, please call me and I will organise, we don't want any boats sitting in the yard.
Stay tuned for further announcements as social events and NOR are finalised
